Glemorangie 1989, a jewel in the elegant Blu Bar

I welcome you in this part of ColorHotel featuring a precious blu colored furniture. This space recalls the atmosphere of tête-à-tête evenings, brilliant conversations, fine cigars and music… maybe straight from the the white piano that comes to life in some summer nights.

Here the after dinner time turns into a ritual of pleasure.

That’s why today I would like to introduce you to one of the product we are more proud about: Glenmorangie ’89, a single malt whisky of limited production. There are just 6000 bottles in the world … and one is waiting for you here, in the Blu Bar at ColorHotel. This valuable spirit has been aged in Scotland for 27 years ( 1989 – 2017) in 3 kinds of casks and of course the value of such a worthy product is increasing more and more in time, quite as an antique jewel.

Glenmorangie proves soft, with notes of butter and marshmallow, and discloses nuances of baked apple, a gentle orange blossom bouque, citrus aromas, honey and oak wood.

I like to recommend it as an excellent drink after a gourmet dinner, when the papillas already went through a significant tasting journey and are receptive to embrace this valuable experience.

It will be my pleasure to accompany you with an expert and attentive service aimed at amplifying the sensations. A pipette will be used to add a drop of water so to expand the flavours of the whisky and reveal a fruity aroma at the end as well.
