The ColorHotel Young Team take a leap into the future

In 2021, the ColorHotel turned a page in its storybook with the founding of its Color Young Team: a group of talented young people, all employed in different areas, eager to bring originality and innovative inspiration into the dynamic ColorHotel.

The importance of young people in a team

More than just an empty initiative, the ColorHotel’s Young Team programme is an investment in the potential of young people in organisations. Enthusiasm, a propensity for ideas and a vision that is totally focussed on the future are just some of the qualities that make young people an invaluable resource in any team. Having taken on board just how valuable this dynamic outlook really is, we decided to fully embrace it.

Made up of eight people from different ColorHotel departments, the Young Team is the beating heart of innovation and transformation. And without further ado, here’s the team!

Each person brings a fresh and personal perspective, ensuring that every aspect of the ColorHotel is given due consideration during meetings and discussions.

Innovation in action: the ColorFestival

One of the first fruits of the Young Team’s creativity was the ColorFestival, a weekend dedicated to celebration – not only of the ColorHotel, but also of the team that makes it the welcoming place that it is. The ColorFestival is a moment that we share with our guests, in which everyone makes their own specific skills available to others, enabling them to participate in small activities together. This might involve preparing desserts, learning the creative art of towel folding, or how to make a cocktail.

This special event is just one example of how the younger generation is helping shape the future of the ColorHotel.

Training, team building and new ideas

In the Color world, training is an endless road, a resource that fuels the fire of personal and professional growth. Here, rather than just being spectators, our young people take the lead role in a story in which the ColorHotel becomes a stage for their dreams and ambitions.

Last October, the members of the Young Team had the opportunity to bond over two intense days of training and team-building activities. Immersed in the natural beauty of the Trentino region, they created a stimulating environment for their personal and group development. The bonding days also provided the perfect space to explore new ideas, which will gradually be integrated to contribute to the continued growth of the ColorHotel.

Camaraderie, trust and enthusiasm for the future

Those shared experiences during the training allowed the members of the Young Team to create strong bonds, based on mutual trust and imbued with enthusiasm for the ColorHotel’s future plans. The dinner was a celebration of this unity and a well-deserved time for our creative young minds to relax.

We look to the future with a sense of eager anticipation, ready to embrace every challenge and welcome any ideas put forward by the Young Team. The journey has only just begun, and the future is looking very promising!
